The Galli Gals don't let a silly thing like 6170 miles separate us. That's why we created this blog. It's an online place for us girls to express our thoughts, homemaking tips, recipes, stories, post pictures, & anything else you can think of. Galli Guys contribute, too. Thanks again family for sharing your talents with me. I again was overcome with gratitude to be counted among that celestial choir and orchestra.

Rosy, the Mormon Snake
Laurel relied other protection for her first date ever, which was with her good friend Maclean Kilpack (with whom she did baptisms this morning early). They went bowling and to dinner at Barbacoa. The bowling alley refused to put up the bumpers because Laurel and Maclean were too old. Aw shucks! Laurel made an excellent dating coach for Maclean, citing her long experience with older sisters and their dates/boyfriends/husbands. Maclean returned her in good condition and on time. The guards ensured that.
Otherwise protected, Dad headed off to tackle Chevron's second spill in less than half a year. I guess even lawyers have to get down and dirty. He would have made such a cute gas station guy!
But I like it best when Dad is home, relaxing by our new fireplace in our bedroom! Santa surprised him with it a couple of weeks ago, and now we love to cozy up in our room when he is home, once in an oil-free blue moon. Have a great time with Babba in DC!Monday, December 6, 2010
Sweet Sixteen Lou
I had the opportunity to do Laurel's hair & makeup for the winter dance. She was a 40s dream. I couldn't believe how old she was!
I was so proud of who she has and is becoming.
